Once you've reached Place Chateaubriand, stroll along Le Sillon, the sandbar that links the Corsair City to the Mer Bonne cove. Alternatively, simply take the time to wander through the narrow streets of the medieval town, where there are many things to discover.
If you like walks with views of sublime seascapes, less than 30 minutes from our seaside hotel in Saint-Malo, in Cancale, the G34, a path created in 1791, allows you to walk along the coast and admire all the creeks along the way to Dinard, passing the Rance dam. This first 2-hour stroll will allow you to take in the scent of the open sea. Along the way, you'll visit the Emerald, the Pink Granite, the Abers, the dunes, beaches and rocky points that symbolize Brittany's flora and fauna.

Ideas for tours in and around Saint-Malo

Saint-Malo and the surrounding area offers a wide range of walks. Why not head for Port Pican from the Pointe du Grouin? This 2.5-hour, 10-kilometre hike will take you through an abundance of contrasting vegetation. Alternatively, the Guérets de Saint-Jouan hike, a 3-hour walk along the banks of the Rance, is perfectly signposted and will encourage you to take a deep breath of fresh air. Finally, from the Frémur estuary to Île Besnard, via Pointe du Meinga, there's no shortage of rock tours.
