Saint-Malo by bike

Saint-Malo is a city that's easy to discover by bike. In addition to its two fully-developed greenways, there are several itineraries that can be taken from the corsair town. Finally, St-Malo is in the wake of the Tour de Manche, the nickname given to the 1,200 kilometers of bike paths linking France and England. As you can see, there's nothing like a stay in the corsair town for cycling and discovering unparalleled countryside and seascapes.
A network of eight major routes for cycling enthusiasts
After a relaxing night in our hotel in Saint-Malo and a hearty breakfast, you'll certainly have regained enough strength to continue your discovery of Saint-Malo and the surrounding area. Indeed, whether you're a cycling enthusiast or simply want to get around St Malo by bike, you'll find that the network of cycle paths is very extensive. Did you know that the city now boasts over 55 kilometers of cycle paths, lanes and corridors?
Adventure also takes place outside the corsair city. Brittany's two greenways, for example, allow you to cycle from Saint-Malo to Evran (near Dinan). If you're a nature lover, our budget hotel in Saint-Malo strongly recommends that you take one of these routes. You'll see that the route is well worth the detour! Alternatively, there's also the Petit Tour de Manche, which takes you as far as Jersey before reaching Poole, a few kilometers further north.
Can you cycle more than 20 kilometers? Then...
If it's a real expedition you're after, there are several long-distance stages from Saint Malo to Evran, Arzal, Cancale and Le Vivier-sur-Mer. For example, St Malo is just over 40 kilometers from Evran, while Arzal is 110 kilometers from our Hôtel de la Cité. Most of these excursions can be made on greenways. Enough to satisfy your desire for a bucolic vacation in Brittany!
