Every Christmas season, amidst the fortifications and in the heart of the Jardin des Douves, the magical and unmissable Christmas Market sets the pace for the city of Saint-Malo and the lives of its inhabitants. Just a few minutes from our hotel in Saint-Malo, you'll be able to visit the stalls of no fewer than thirty exhibitors offering handcrafted products, local produce and other original gift ideas.
Saint-Malo's 2018 Christmas market will last two weeks. It will be decorated with a multitude of glittering garlands and illuminations. Of course, the eternal and inescapable Santa Claus will be on hand to bring a radiant smile to the little ones, all in a dazzling winter setting.
Saint-Malo's other Christmas surprises
The Christmas market is not the only major attraction in Saint-Malo during the festive season. There are also numerous light displays in the inner city, as well as street animations, shows and rides with Santa Claus organized as part of the Advent window. In addition, in 2019 and 2021, a 520-square-meter ice rink was deployed along the Esplanade Saint-Vincent. It's a safe bet that it will be back, bigger and better than ever!
